We slept well last night with the family in Lat Krabang.

Today we go via Nakhon Ratchasima to Udon Thani. But first we have to refuel. We leave at 11 am.

We drive via Nong Chok and miss the hustle and bustle at Saraburi and a stretch of the boring highway. We don't drive very fast, but that's not possible on a busy road or in a traffic jam.
We eventually arrive at Mittraphap Road, the highway to the north-east of Thailand. It is quite busy, especially on slopes, and the traffic moves very slowly. We stop for a moment to buy money and visit the toilet. The further we go, the quieter it becomes.
We stop along the way at a parking lot along the Lumtakong reservoir and eat grilled fish there, it tastes only mediocre, the fish doesn't seem fresh.
It gets busy again in Nakhon Ratchasima, but we arrive at the hotel we booked around four o'clock, the City Park Hotel. The hotel is simple but neat and the welcome is friendly.
We go to The Mall across the road and have a look around. We also buy two pairs of shoes there.

And then we want to have a beer and a glass of wine, but that isn't possible anywhere there. There is enough food.
We look further on the other side of the road, see a very large market, but we can't get anything to drink or eat anywhere.
We walk back to the hotel and sit in the restaurant. There is beer there and we also order something to eat.
In the restaurant a group of elderly people are having a karaoke party going on. We hear that they do this more often, and Pia is also invited to sing along, but she declines that.
We go to bed early.
